Zoom Guidelines

Zoom Guidelines:

We work hard to create a safe environment of growth and positivity in everything we do.. Because we will be meeting live on zoom and encouraging participation in the form of a Question & Answer session at the end of the training, here are some guidelines we're asking you to follow so we can keep the environment safe for all.

  1. No Stories About Trauma. Detailed or Graphic stories about the trauma you went through are not allowed. No “trigger warning” posts allowed.
  2. Be Kind and Courteous. We're here to grow to be the best we can be. We're a team and family, treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  3. Respect Everyone's Privacy. What's shared in the group stays in the group. Being part of this group requires mutual trust.
  4. Positivity Only — No Negativity Zone. We are here to help each other learn and grow. Negativity and complaining will not be tolerated.
  5. Follow the "Golden Rule". Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated.
  6. Ask questions simply. We want everyone to have the chance to ask questions. Keeping questions short and without backstory allows us to answer many questions and not spend most of our time listening to one being asked.
  7. Ask questions without a backstory. If we need more information we will ask you for it. Keep it simple and try to stick to this format: "I'm trying to achieve [Goal], but I'm having trouble because of {Obstacle}. How do I overcome {Obstacle}?"
  8. Ask questions that are questions. Does your question sound like a question? If you wrote it out would it have a question mark at the end of it? A statement is hard to answer. There’s not much I can do with statements and comments in a q&a setting. That being said it’s encouraged to comment on things we’re talking about and on other members' questions and success; just don’t expect an “answer” from us.
  9. Focus on solutions, not problems. Always be positive and ask questions about challenges, don’t complain. Always focus on questions and finding solutions! Adopt that How can I attitude

Can't wait to see you there!! :)
